Description

Professionally dip your hive components in a 50/50 mixture of Microcrystalline and paraffin wax to preserve the wood for years and eliminate the need for painting. Our wax dipping process ensures years of maintenance free service as well as a beautiful wooden finish. 

Wax dipping is done only a few times per year so please contact Birdwell Bees for the dates of the next wax dipping.  Please note that wax dipping is by appointment and walk in customers may not be able to be dipped. 

Drop off service is available but storage space is limited so any items that are left for more than 48 hours are subject to a daily storage charge.  This charge is calculated at 20% of the dipping cost per day. 

A down payment of $20 will be required to reserve your spot.  This will be applied as a credit to your final amount due.  Please note that the deposit is not refundable.

This service is only offered for new equipment which has been assembled. Un-assembled wooden equipment could warp under the temperature of the process and cause it to no longer fit together properly.

Price is calculated based on the cost of propane, wax, and labor. Volume discounts apply. Pricing is per piece.
